New campaign: bottle tops against Polio

New campaign Our school, Grundschule im Beerwinkel, will continue to collect bottle tops! We started the collection at the beginning of our Erasmus+ Project for Izan's new wheel chair, went on for new legs for Martyna in Poland - but as we could not transport the bottle tops to Spain or Poland anymore, we decided to find something in Berlin. We were lucky - there is a campaign for rooting out Polio infections by financing vaccinations with recycling bottle tops. And - there is a firm in Berlin which takes the collection! So we went to Tempelhof to MELOSCH-GmbH on 10th September 15 and distributed our bottle top collection there. We gained 122 kg - that means 122 vaccination portions. That is really a lot - 61 000 bottle tops! We will continue to collect them and help to root out that terrible infection. Neue Aktion Die Grundschule im Beerwinkel sammelt ab sofort Plastikschraubverschlüsse für die Aktion: deckel-gegen-polio - Deckel Drauf! Damit wollen wir helfen, die Kinderlähmung- Krankheit in der Welt zu beenden. Für nur 500 Deckel gibt es eine Impfportion! Wir haben unsere Deckelsammlung am 10. September 2015 zur Firma MELOSCH GmbH in Tempelhof gebracht - eine ganze Wagenladung voll. Dabei waren Angelina, Elias, Marie, Amal, Olivia, Jana und Laura und 2 Praktikanten, die die Kinder auf dem langen Weg nach Tempelhof begleiteten. Wir konnten die Plastikdeckel gar nicht alle in einem Container unterbringen und füllten noch einen zweiten bis zur Hälfte. Alles in allem waren es ungefähr 61 000 Deckel - das macht 122 kg und ergibt 122 Impfportionen. Und das haben wir nur in einem halben Jahr gesammelt. Deshalb: Die Sammlung geht weiter! Bottletops helfen! Sie können jederzeit während des Schulbetriebs im Hort und im Eingang in die Boxen geworfen werden. bottle tops against Polio

Ich finde an die Aktion toll, weil das Poliokranken hilft. I like the action because it is giving aid to children endangered by Polio.
